I have already reviewed this podcast before but i still think my past review didn’t capture how much this podcast means to me. I have insomnia due to my adhd which means sleeping at a reasonable hour is pretty much unheard of for me, i always get so wrapped up in my thoughts and anxieties, that was until i found out about this podcast. It was a good day out, in a car ride, i had decided to listen to a podcast and looked up “relax with animal facts” low and behold i found exactly what j wanted. A zoology nerd with insomnia finding a podcast about relaxation and zoology? It sounded like a miracle. this podcast has become a part of my daily routine, every night I turn an episode on, put a sleep timer and hear those heavenly first few piano notes, steph wolfe’s voice was a bit strange at first but it truly grew on me, now it seems so calming to me. Hearing facts i never knew about animals is truly exciting, and since i get distracted easily it means i can replay these episodes over and over and over again to hear what i missed out on. My favorite episodes are the binturong and highland cow one. I apologize if this review was long but it’s only a margin of how much i love this podcast. If i may request would you mind reviewing the african crested rat? I heard about it recently and i would love to learn about it.
